Secured stockpile of pandaren spoils11/11/2022 These phases alternate until the boss is defeated. You should be able to skip all of this trash and head straight to the boss. When you enter the raid, go down the ramp, past some trash and down the hallway to Immerseus. If you got it wrong, go back out and set the difficulty properly. If you aren't sure, scroll up in the Chat bar after you enter and it should say "Welcome to Siege of Orgrimmar (Mythic)". You really, really don't want to get to the end and find out that you've done it all on normal and don't have a chance at the mount. When you enter the raid, make sure it's on the proper difficulty setting. Each will have two parts – Getting TO the boss and details on any mechanics you need to know to defeat the boss. This guide will be arranged around the bosses. There are few places where the trash is dense and I generally clear the room of trash for extra cash, but sometimes I skip while trying to speed run. All trash can drop greens and, more importantly, which sell very well on the AH. Killing a lot of trash is boring, but it can also be lucrative. Expect to spend at least an hour in here, perhaps even more.įor the most part, you can skip any trash mobs that are not directly in your path if you are trying to speed through. The other thing you need to plan for is time. Engineers can use Jeeves or something similar to clear their bags at least once in the raid. If you have a vendor mount such as Reins of the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth there are a few places in mid-raid where you mount to sell gear but much of the raid is underground where you cannot mount. SECURED STOCKPILE OF PANDAREN SPOILS FREEYou should aim for 40+ free bag slots, if not more. A vendor mount is also strongly recommended. The most important thing you will need in SOO is bag space. One of them ( Path of the Mogu King) lets you teleport straight to the Mogu'shan palace and avoid a lot of flying to get here. If you completed the MOP challenge mode dungeons in time back in MOP, you received a set of Challenger's path spells. In the Legion assault version of the Vale the entrance is in the same location but you must swim down through the lake to reach it. In the original Vale, the entrance to SOO is below the steps leading away from the Mogu’Shan palace. There are two versions of the Vale – The MOP original and the Legion assault version. The entrance to SOO is in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. I've soloed the raid hundreds of times looking for specific items and I decided a detailed guide would be easier than digging through comments on the various bosses and trying to get through the map without getting lost. Most unfortunately of all, there is one boss (the Paragons of the Klaxxi) with a major bug that can be EXTREMELY frustrating. Several of the bosses have VERY specific mechanics to understand and tricks to do them quickly without drama. There are doors everywhere that only unlock in certain scenarios, there are loops you can run around forever, etc. Why is this guide necessary? Parts of SOO are, quite simply, a maze. The guide will NOT generally cover boss mechanics unless there are specific mechanics you need to know for the boss. I also assume that you are running the raid on Mythic, which should pose no challenge to most characters. In general, this guide assumes that your character is max level and has decent gear. The end goal is to minimize your time and frustration in the raid and make it as easy as possible. The guide will help you learn the proper paths to get through the raid, boss mechanics, things to avoid, etc. This guide is intended for high-level characters that want to solo SOO for loot and gold. There are many great transmog sets in the raid (especially the Tusks of Mannoroth) and a highly-coveted mount, Kor'kron Juggernaut. It is also one of the most confusing with a myriad of doors and potential paths and complex bosses with very specific mechanics. Siege of Orgrimmar (SOO) is one of WOW’s most iconic raids.
